Delicious eats!
The day before Thanksgiving, we distributed 60 meals at our Community House — turkey, mac and cheese, stuffing, cranberry sauce, rolls, collard greens, and apple pie (not shown).
We also gave out DIY ornament kits so our residential participants could safely decorate ornaments and then trim the tree. Says LSSNY’s Caitlin Graham, “It was truly wonderful work by the chef and a great start to the holiday season.”
Community House is part of LSSNY’s supportive housing, providing case management services such as on-site activities, service referrals, and job development to residents.
