Crain’s New York Business has named 50 honorees who are spearheading innovation and making New York City a better place. Among them is our Chief Financial Officer, Rinku Bhattacharya.

In her work as LSSNY’s CFO, Ms. Bhattacharya oversees finance and information technology. Her team handles audits, budgets, compliance, and systems infrastructure for the organization. Notably, she restructured the accounting function to better manage growth and ensure timely and compliant reporting.

Bhattacharya has more than 25 years of financial and administrative experience in areas of financial management, information technology, strategy, and infrastructure building — with a specialty in the non-profit sector. She joined LSSNY because of our leadership, programs, and commitment to social change.

She is on the boards of several nonprofits that focus on underprivileged youth in the New York area, including the Boys and Girls Club of New Rochelle, City Living NY, and Hudson Valley Youth Robotics.

Bhattacharya has a doctoral degree in Accounting (DPS) from Pace University, an MBA in Finance from the University of Bridgeport, and an MS in Non-Profit Management from New School University.

She is an avid cook, and particularly enjoys cooking for and with her two children.

Please join us in congratulating her.
