Are you financially literate?
In other words, can you effectively manage financial matters such as budgeting, investing, and debt management?
Financial literacy involves having the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed financial decisions that align with personal goals and values. Financial literacy is paramount to the success of our communities and local economies.
LSSNY’s Family Enrichment Center, in partnership with Budgeting Backwards and Bronx Works Classic Community Center, successfully delivered a financial literacy program to the Morrisania community in the Bronx. On the program: financial management, budgeting, and retirement planning. Participants were enthusiastic and engaged.
Says Kiya Rheubottom MA AET E.D., Director of Family Support Services at Lutheran Social Services of New York, “The Family Enrichment Center remains committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for our offerings. We strive to create positive and transformative learning experiences for the communities of Morrisania, Crotona, E. Tremont, and Belmont, fostering a brighter future for all.”
