There are urgent needs such as a three-day supply of emergency food and then monthly food assistance for families in need.
At LSSNY’s New LIFE Center in Uniondale, NY, we stock our food pantry with breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, including:
· Cereal, oatmeal, pancakes, syrup
· Shelf Stable Milk
· Juice
· Canned meals-Chef Boyardee, Chili & Stew
· Peanut butter and jelly
· Vegetable & Canola Oil
· Canned fruit and applesauce
· Rice
· Pasta
· Spaghetti sauce
· Mac and cheese
· Ketchup, Mustard, salad dressing, mayonnaise
· Canned foods (all kinds of vegetables; tuna fish, chicken)

LSSNY’s Healthy LIFE program works in collaboration with congregations, community organizations, and individuals to establish food pantries, soup kitchens, and hunger prevention sites. We have over 50 sites across metropolitan New York.
At our New LIFE Center in Uniondale, clients can receive food assistance and discuss nutrition and recipe ideas with staff and volunteers. We also provide school supplies and layettes for moms.
