Meet Samantha Williams, one of LSSNY’s new board members.
Ms. Williams currently serves as Commercial Counsel at Colgate-Palmolive. Prior to moving to New York and working in her current role, she practiced as an associate attorney at two large law firms in Washington, D.C. and Houston, Texas.
A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Ms. Williams obtained her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Brown University and her Juris Doctor degree from Vanderbilt University Law School. Her communication and legal skills, attention to detail and organization, and eagerness to work with all types of people are all competencies she will bring to her position as a member of Lutheran Social Services of New York’s board.
Asked how she feels about joining LSSNY’s board, she says, “I’m incredibly excited and honored. While I’m looking forward to many things as a board member, I’m most excited about working with the LSSNY community to best support current programs and find creative ways to engage the at-large New York community about our mission and services.”
Please join us in welcoming her to LSSNY.
